Open sensor infrastructure
Senses for the built environment.
Ohjaus is the physical foundation layer that needs to sense the built environment -- structural, environmental, positioning, and energy data, on one open-standards sensing base.
Open-standard sensor infrastructure for embedded applications.
Every building sensor deserves a common foundation
Each has historically reinvented its own hardware.
Construction sites, finished buildings, and homes all need to sense the same underlying things -- structural health, environment, occupancy, position, energy use. Ohjaus is designed as one open platform underneath all three: the physical foundation layer for commercial construction, building operations, and residential monitoring alike.
Three layers, one sensing base
The same core architecture is designed to scale from a single embedded sensor to a building-wide mesh, whether the deployment is a commercial jobsite, a finished building, or a residential ADU.
Embedded Probe
Structural sensors designed to be cast into concrete or welded to steel -- built for the building's life, not just its construction.
Sensor Plate: the surface-mounted intelligence hub -- positioning, radio, and local compute, designed to wire to whatever probes the deployment needs.
The Bridge: the edge server designed to turn raw sensor data into something a building, a jobsite, or a home can act on.
Open standards, closed cloud services
Ohjaus follows the ecosystem model that made Arduino and Raspberry Pi ubiquitous: open, documented interfaces and communication standards so integrators and partners can build on and around the platform, while the cloud services layer -- device management, telemetry, alerts -- is where the ongoing relationship lives.
Who Ohjaus is for
Early stage, research and specification
Ohjaus is currently in the design and specification phase -- no hardware has shipped yet. Manufacturing partners and certified integrators are how the platform is designed to reach scale.
